Check out this 1969 Beetle now, because pretty soon you won't recognize it. A custom restoration for our customer who wants a racing vehicle, this Bug will soon be adapted to have a Porsche® 5 speed transmission and a custom built Type 4 engine.
  
      

For better braking, we've converted the 4 wheels to disc brakes with 16 inch Porsche® alloy wheels (Fuchs). It has an adjustable front beam and dropped spindles in the front for better handling. Heavy duty torsion bars and adjustable spring plates allow for fully adjustable suspension in the rear. We've also adapted the gear shifter linkage to accommodate the 911 transmission.

  

         

  
Primed with a new used rear apron in place, we've sanded out all remaining body blemishes. We also installed a roll cage and cut custom holes in the dash for instruments.
  

    

    

 
Back from the paint shop, the beetle is ready for it's new custom Type 4 engine we'll be building for it soon. It has been painted "Seal Grey Metallic", a custom Porsche Boxster color. The 16 inch Porsche® Fuch wheels were also painted to match. Keep following this restoration effort, we'll be posting more soon.
